Exhibit Design - Plant Based Eating

Overview:

For my senior capstone, I designed a presentation on the social issue of nutrition and public health, titled ‘What You Eat Could Save Your Life.’ The project aimed to create a compelling and informative display that highlighted how adopting a plant-based diet could potentially prevent up to eleven million deaths worldwide each year.

Solution:

I balanced emotional storytelling with clear data to effectively raise awareness about the life-saving benefits of plant-based eating. By starting with research, I found compelling stories on Forks Over Knives website that could make as a great way to emotionally draw people into my message. I chose to mention diseases that could be relatable to a wide audience.

Interactive elements like the food flaps and survey section kept my audience engaged. As I had little room for how much I wanted to say, I had to clearly organize hierarchy and distinguish the information that was most important to tell to make a real impact.
