Web Design - Roka Akor
Overview:
Roka Akor is an elegant Japanese Steakhouse located in Scottsdale. Their current website lacks clear navigation, legibility and color that could help elevate their current branding to match the same intentionality of their menu and restaurant interior. With their current web design I found myself struggling to quickly find their menu and the roots of what they are.
Solution:
Using Figma and WordPress, I designed a new, responsive home page for Roka Akor, focusing on maintaining their classy feel and improving their site navigation. The new layout provides a clear, easy to navigate interface, and informs the viewer of information they are looking for quickly. By adding more touches of their gold brand color, their website is easier on the eyes. I decreased the contrast of the blacks and whites to improve legibility of the site.

Menu Design:
As part of the interview process for Roka Akor Scottsdale, I was requested to design a mock Easter Menu. For the design, I focused on keeping their dark and gold brand colors while adding touches of pink to incorporate the bright Easter feeling.
